Ole Miss 55 LSU 49

This one was the proverbial track meet, with the Rebels scoring last and securing the victory over the godforsaken LSU tigers.

The LSU quarterback was very good, quite poised, and the receivers caught everything. They were big and fast dudes.

LSU couldn’t really run much, though, and the Rebels were able to move the ball with the run, and I think that’s the difference here. Judkins had something like 177 yards on the ground, and Bentley added another 90.

I didn’t think the Rebels could win this one, so it’s a freebie. I do like Ole Miss’ chances against the pigs from Arkansas next week at Vaught-Hemingway, but they really ought to try to play a little defense in that one. That’s my recommendation.
