Ole Miss 38 Texas A&M 35
Nov 04, 23The Rebels of Ole Miss defeated the Aggies of Texas A&M 38-35 in a nail-biter, a game that had my heart racing. As has been the case all season, the Ole Miss defense bends, a lot, but it doesn’t break, and it managed to deflect a last-second field goal attempt by A&M to seal the victory. Ole Miss is now 8-1 on the season and careening into the pretty-much unbeatable Georgia Bulldogs next Saturday. Let’s be honest here and just go ahead and call the game with UGA a loss, because there’s no chance Ole Miss can even compete with that team. They have the best players money can buy, but they are also about as fundamentally sound as any team in college football. Those guys don’t make mistakes; they just steamroll. I’d love to see the Rebs knock the Bulldogs off their perch and make all those ugly Georgia freaks cry, I really would, but Ole Miss just doesn’t have the players to get it done.
