Ole Miss defeated an overmatched Furman squad 76-0, extracting revenge for the 7-2 loss in 1924.

Jaxson Dart complete 22 of 27 passes for 418 yards and 5 touchdowns, in the first half! The Rebels took a 52-0 lead into the locker room at halftime, and Dart sat out the rest of the game.

The Rebels defense allowed almost no running, giving up only 26 yards. Furman made a few passes, collecting 126 yards, and if I had to name a weak link on this team based on this game, the early-season inexperience showed up a bit in the Rebels’ pass defense.

Next week Ole Miss plays Middle Tennessee State at home, which should be a better test than Furman.
