Ole Miss defeated an overmatched Middle Tennessee State squad 52-3.

This week’s poll will probably have the Rebels ranked up to #4, which is insane.

Jaxson Dart completed his first 24 passes, both school and SEC records. No question now that he has to be considered a Heisman contentder.

Henry Parrish Jr. ran for 165 yards and 4 touchdowns.

On defense, the line and linebackers are playing with speed, and they are tackling well.

And again I have to double-down on my observation from last week, that the secondary seems to be the weakest link on this team, but they also are playing with speed and they are tackling well, just that they are finding themselves out of position a little too often for my taste.

Next week the Rebels travel to Wake Forest to challenge the Demon Deacons. The Rebels ought to trounce them.
