Ole Miss 63 Arkansas 31

Nov 03, 24

Ole Miss throttled the pigs at Arkansas in the game I’d been looking out for, the game in which the Rebels offense ripped it open. This was that game.

Arkansas won the toss and took the football. It didn’t matter.

Dart looked great. He had a field day and slung the ball around for more than 500 yards. Jordan Watkins caught some deep balls. Dart got some good runs, and that’s the main thing I predicted would have to happen if Ole Miss were to get its offense oiled up.

This is exactly the sort of outcome I’d said was possible if Ole Miss played a complete game, an absolute gassing of a conference opponent on their home field.

Next week we return to Oxford to face the Georgia bulldogs, a game I’ve had circled since Georgia decimated Ole Miss last season. If the offense has in fact found its footing, look out.
